Our volunteer of the year is Jen Lemke!

Nominated  by Linda Tanner and voted on by the EPNA board - Our volunteer of the year is Jen Lemke !!

In 2025, Lemke spearheaded the effort to bring SNAP benefits to the Enderis Park Farmers Market. She completed all of the government paperwork, got the approvals, figured out the technology for the card reader, and documented the process. On top of all that, she attended every single market in 2025, to make sure that we were able to administer the benefit when needed. Implementing SNAP expanded the reach of our market to more of our neighbors, helped them to purchase fresh produce, and helped our vendors as well. Jen’s hard work to implement SNAP benefits truly embodies the meaning of the word "neighbor".

We have many volunteers who keep EPNA going strong (But we can always use more! Check out our Get Involved Page to learn how to lend a hand!)

Here are our fabulous 2025 volunteer team - we offer them our sincere gratitude for another great year.

ENDERIS PARK NEIGHBORHOODASSOCIATION, INC.

2025 ANNUAL REPORT

The year 2025 was again a very successful one for the Enderis Park Neighborhood Association, Inc. (EPNA). Despite a rainout of one Concert on the Green, the three remaining concerts were enjoyed by many. Also, a full season of Farmers’ Market events filled summer Sundays with good food, arts & crafts - with music adding an additional treat for attendees. Non-profits and various EPNA sponsors were also present at both the concerts and Farmers’ Market events.

Regular seasonal activities also brought many neighbors and friends to Enderis Park. These included ‘Mulchfest’, Spring Clean-up, Easter Egg Hunt, July 4th Celebration, Bloom & Groom Plant Sale, Harvestfest, Halloween Trick or Treat and Holiday Decorating contest. EPNA also concluded another successful “Enderis Park Gives Back” (Hunger Task Force) fund raiser with well over $5,000 in donations. EPNA continued its neighborhood landscape maintenance activities at public spaces within the EPNA boundaries.

EPNA began the first of its Family Movie Nights in 2025. The plan is to expand to two Movie Nights in 2026. EPNA also funded the construction and installation of a Triangle Park monument with solar lighting at the south end of the small City ‘boulevard’ on N. 67th Street and Hartung Avenue.

EPNA also experienced a solid financial year in 2025. Total year receipts exceeded disbursements by $3,695. This surplus resulted mainly from the rainout of one of the Concerts on the Green. Membership receipts totaled $8,666. Other revenue sources included Concerts on the Green (+$4,759) and the Farmers’ Market (+$2,905). Net expenditures for neighborhood maintenance and capital improvements totaled (-$9,252) after receiving $4,000 City grant to partially offset the cost of the Triangle Park monument. Event cost net of receipts totaled -$1,045. Operations (insurance, PO box, etc.) cost -$1,845, while other committee net costs totaled -$542.

As of December 31, 2025, the EPNA Fund Balance totals $60,533.77 compared to a January 1, 2025 balance of $56,838.48, for an increase of $3,695.29. Of the $60,533.77 balance, $24,798.17 is invested in eight-week US Treasury Bills. The remaining $35,735.60 remains in a business checking account at PNC Bank. Of the total Fund Balance, $10,000.00 is reserved for Stage related expenses. Please see the 2025 Annual Financial Report for details.
