COVID-19 Impact on EPNA Events

Updated: Apr 14, 2020

Dear Enderis Park Friends and Neighbors:

With Spring upon us, our thoughts are typically filled with anticipation of the opportunity to be outside and to spend more time with friends and neighbors. We look forward to many of the neighborhood activities that have brought us together so often in the past.

The Coronavirus pandemic is serious and has changed so much for us right now. We are all working hard to follow the Safer at Home order which requires that we all stay home from all activities unless the activity is determined to be essential. By following social distance guidelines we can do much to stay healthy and protect ourselves, loved ones and neighbors.

With this in mind, and out of abundance of caution, the EPNA Easter Egg Hunt, originally scheduled for April 4, 2020 was cancelled.

Many questions are now being asked about how long the stay-at-home measures will be in effect and how they will impact the remainder of the 2020 Enderis Park Neighborhood Association Spring and Summer activities (including Bloom and Groom, May 16; Rummage Sale, June 6: Fourth of July Celebration, July 4; and part or all of the Enderis Park Farmer’s Market and Concerts on the Green seasons.)

***Currently we do not know if, or in what ways, our Spring and Summer activities will be impacted. While we hope to hold our events, we will make decisions about them as we get closer and receive more information about Covid-19. ***

During the coming weeks, The EPNA Board will be continuing to consider all the available information and will be making decisions relative to all of our Spring and Summer activities. Decisions will be based on the ability to hold or modify each event to ensure safe and healthy social distancing for all participants and guests. Decisions will be made based on Federal, State, City and Milwaukee Recreation Department guidelines and directives.

Please watch Nextdoor, Facebook, Membership emails or the EPNA website for updates relative to cancellations or rescheduling of events.

In the meantime please:

(Precautions we take today impact everyone around us!)
