A Membership Message from the EPNA President - Enderis Park Stronger Together

The Enderis Park Neighborhood Association (EPNA) is one of the defining parts of our neighborhood. EPNA, with your input and support, provides leadership focusing on activities and events that promote the quality appearance of our homes, businesses, institutions and public areas, and encourages communication and collaboration within our neighborhood. In addition, EPNA works to insure that our neighborhood remains a safe and inviting place to live, work and play and we coordinate with government, private and public resources to strengthen the neighborhood.

The annual EPNA Membership Drive is held in July and membership cost as little as $20.00 for residents. I invite you now to renew your membership, or become a first-time member of EPNA, and support our events and activities for 2021. Be a proud part of Enderis Park Stronger Together! To join: 1. Is it the beautiful homes on tree lined streets, families who remember growing up in the neighborhood or new residents with their own history and memories, special friendships that are built sharing stories over the back fence, summer block parties, or walks through the neighborhood? Is it the beautiful green space at its heart that serves as a gathering place with sports fields, splash pad and swing sets, a nature playground, Little Free Library, childhood learning walk, or benches for taking it all in? Or, most importantly, is it sounds, everywhere, of happy children and families at play. According to Milwaukee Magazine, the Enderis Park Neighborhood “is of the best places in Milwaukee to live, work, raise a family and just have fun.” Sadly, this year it was necessary to cancel most of our planned events out of the utmost caution and consideration for the health and safety of our participants. It was a difficult time for the EPNA Board and neighbors as each event was canceled, knowing all the wonderful things that each activity brings to the neighborhood. I can assure you that we have all missed the candy filled eggs, the stroll though the Farmers’ Market on a Sunday morning, the sweet sound of music under a starry sky and the classic ice cream cups (with wooden spoons!) We have missed all of our trademark events. The EPNA Board is, and will continue to be, working diligently to monitor the new safety precautions, rules and restrictions that are developed by the CDC, the state, the city and MPS. We are committed to structure all of our events for the 2021 season and to ensure that we will provide the same high quality events you remember in a very safe and healthy environment for all participants. I am so very proud to live in the Enderis Park Neighborhood, to be a member of EPNA and to serve as your EPNA President. I want to especially thank the EPNA Board, Committee members and volunteers for all their support, and you the members who make ENDERIS PARK STRONGER TOGETHER! If you would like to volunteer for any of our exciting events or activities or are interested in joining the EPNA Board, email me at epna.paty@gmail.com or visit our new website at https://www.enderispark.org/ . Stay healthy and safe, Pat Patricia Yahle President; Enderis Park Neighborhood Association WE ARE ENDERIS PARK Stronger Together What activities and events do EPNA membership dues and sponsorships support?
